When you join the church you become a voting member, able to vote on the annual budget and other items that come before the congregation for consideration. You will be invited to participate fully in the life of the church in as many ways as interest you.
But membership is about much more than voting and serving on committees. It is, more importantly, about creating a covenant with God and with others in the church that the First Congregational Church is now your spiritual home and that you desire to become part of this church family.
Is this a church that you could be part of?
If you are ready to join, or if you would like to explore the idea further, please do not hesitate to contact the minister at 207-935-3227 or email. You also may join the church’s fellowship by transfer of letter from another church, by affirmation of faith, or by confirmation.
